Largest law event in the European legal sector is another Sell-Out Success for Netlaw Media

Legal managers keen to increase the success of their law firms and legal businesses will gather an abundance of sector-focused insight and expertise next month as two leading law events team up to host the largest law expo in Europe, which has already reached full capacity and becomes Netlaw Media’s 17th major law event to sell-out in succession.

The event, which takes place on 10th October at the Old Billingsgate, London,  will see ‘The London Law Expo 2017’ and ‘The European Legal Security Forum 2017’ unite to present visitors with two international events, both advising on how to successfully manage and protect law firms.

Both individual events were sell-out successes in 2016 and it is anticipated that the recently amalgamated event will welcome 2,000 senior representatives from the UK, European and international legal sectors.

The expo, which is presented by Netlaw Media, will be staged over two floors with visitors being able to attend both separately branded events. More than 70 expert guest speakers have already been confirmed in a full schedule of keynote addresses, seminars and educational presentations. In addition, delegates can expect over 2,500 square metres of exhibition space with over leading 80 suppliers resenting a plethora of services and solutions for those working in the legal sector.

The London Law Expo will take over the ground floor of the venue and will bring together the most respected names in the legal and commercial sectors to deliver a broad range of sector-focused information to assist law firms and legal businesses increase both their profitability and overall performance.

Chaired by Professor Stephen Mayson, the 2017 event will examine the current landscape of the legal sector and will assess the risks and challenges that the sector is currently facing. Other subjects to be explored include The Business of Law, The Reinvention of Law and The Impact of Technology on Leadership.

Visitors at The London Law Expo will have the opportunity to listen and engage with a line-up of impressive keynote speakers, including Jeff Nischwitz, President of The Nischwitz Group. Mr Nischwitz has progressed through the ranks from partner in a successful law firm to founder of his own entrepreneurial law company.

The second keynote speaker for this event will be Gerd Leonhard, a widely-known and respected futurist who focuses his actionable foresight in sectors such as humanity, society, business and commerce.

Frances Armstrong, Managing Director of Netlaw Media said: “We are extremely excited about the upcoming event, which will now see two international law events come together to host a day that will be both educational and engaging. Visitors will benefit from both events being under the same roof with unprecedented access to the knowledge and insight they need to drive their businesses forward whilst planning for success in 2018 and beyond. This year’s agenda is truly cutting-edge and intended to fully equip delegates to protect their firms, particularly in light of the ever-changing landscape of law, which sees technological advances both helping and hindering the sector. With cyber security more of a threat than ever, this event will also give visitors the understanding they need to protect themselves and the firms that they have worked so hard to build.”

After learning about how to increase the overall profitability and success of their firm, visitors can head to the second floor, where The European Security Forum 2017 will explore the security threats and risk factors associated with both cyber security and data protection within the legal sector.

The European Legal Security Forum is chaired by award winning security expert and blogger, Graham Cluley, who in the early 1990s, wrote the first ever version of Dr Solomon’s Anti-Virus Toolkit for Windows.

The event also boasts a number of high-calibre keynote speakers, including Sir John Sawers, former chief of the British Secret Intelligence Service, otherwise known as MI6.

Well-known ethical hacker and social engineer FC will also be making an appearance at the event where he hopes to educate individuals and organisations about how to defend themselves against malicious attacks.
